The Cruisers award
Learn to skateboard at your own pace with a qualified coach. Patience is key when covering all the fundamentals of skateboarding. We are here to give you all the help you need to skate safe both indoors and outdoors. A handout card along with stickers for each fundamental completed is included with a certificate upon completion. We can deliver this course at any location within the UK!
INDOOR SKATE LOCATION 1
RalPHS HOUSE, BLAckpool
Our purpose built beginner space is perfect for complete novice riders. With skateboards, helmets and safety equipment all within arms reach. The space has a disabled WC, CCTV, 1ft - 4ft ramps and flat indoor space. Ralphs house is a collaborative project between Live Like Ralph, House of Wingz and Real Skate Northwest. The space itself is proudly recognised as Ralphs House in memory of the late Ralph Roberts who sadly lost his life to a rare condition, Sarcoidosis. We host a variety of sessions to help children from all backgrounds have access to safe spaces where they can be their true authentic selves.Address: Back Read's Rd, Blackpool FY1 4QW

OUTDOORS, Lytham
ParkView4U is one of many outdoor spaces where sessions take place and home to our much loved annual RALPHFEST! We are here every summer hosting the cruisers award that is a beginner course for children aged between 5-16 years. This course requires a minimum of 6Hours training and inludes theory. All our sessions are filled with smiles, laughter, fun and community. Blackpool, Stanley Park. Incredible skatepark in the heart of Blackpools most beautiful Stanley Park. This park is suitable for all ages and abilities. The grounds surrounding the park are perfect for beginner riders. Home of local skater owned skateshop BIG WOODYS and all purpose ramps. Come and see our skills unfold in the spectating room! You may need full winter attire in the cooler months if you're not riding but come and see all the action first hand.This space is ideal for new learners who are dropping in for the first time, transition and building up confidence with speed. The entry into this park is £8.50 for 4 hours of activity. We encourage children to bring along a variety of wheels to choose from after sessions are complete. Our fantastic opportunity to collaborate with Ickleskills in Poulton provides us with a great deal of indoor flat-ground space for all our wheels! As well as skateboarding we offer a space for guided wheel sessions including quads, rollerblades and scooters! This is our monlthy skatespot for beginner skateboarders. Home to some amazing talent and local legends. Great choice of ramps for beginners and advanced riders. We strongly encourage variety when learning to skate from indoors to outdoors and checking out all different skate spots.
